What a week! When I tell y’all I’m so glad today is Friday! Between my training and setting up other business, it has been an exhausting week. Not to mention Cairo has recently decided that she would like to eat every 1.5-2 hours which means I’m up most of the night. And OMG don’t let her have a sudden burst of energy at 5 am. No one told me parenting would be so tiring! *insert sarcasm here*. I’ve been so exhausted y’all. I legit fell asleep mid-post last night. And I’m talking phone in hand, middle of a word, passing out. When I woke up this morning and read what I had typed up, I instantly thanked the Heavens that I did not post lol. I had so many misspelled and misplaced words y’all. The word received was spelled “rwxIrvdd” lol. Clearly I was out of it.
This past week or so has been encouraging. Y’all are encouraging. The work I’m doing is encouraging. The work being done around me is encouraging. It’s amazing to see how different puzzle pieces can come together unexpectedly. I received another job rejection today but on the flip side, I received good news from a business partner. So I’m taking it in strides. I’m learning not to let things bother me on a smaller scale and instead, be joyful & take it all in. I think that’s the key to happiness. Being able to find your joy in an overall experience instead of accounting for every single moment and letting one bad moment determine your entire day. Don’t get me wrong, I know that some days are hard and we need those small moments of hope to push through.
Speaking of small moments, I had so much positivity and light flowing in my life this past week. In all honesty, I probably had just as much negative come my way when I consider the rejection letters from job applications (2 more came in) and the many bills that seem to always be piling up. However, I am choosing to focus on the good things such as the 2 phone interviews, the great training sessions, & the family time we snuck in on this great Friday evening.
With that being said, thanks for sticking with me throughout this week & I pray that you’ve experienced much love & positivity!

After reading this entry I am reminded how impactful and necessary small victories can be . Thank you!
